Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Refunds
1.1 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Framova offers a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with your subscription within 7 days of purchase, we will refund your subscription fee in full, with the following conditions:
Eligibility
- Subscription must be your first Framova paid subscription (does not apply to upgrades or renewals)
- Refund request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of the initial charge date
- Your Account must not show signs of abuse, fraud, or Terms of Service violations
- Total usage must be reasonable for evaluation (if you've consumed >80% of tier benefits, refund may be denied)
Process
- Email refund@framova.cc with subject line "Refund Request - [Your Email]"
- Include your Framova account email and reason for refund
- Framova will review within 3 business days
- If approved, refund will be processed within 5–10 business days via your original payment method
Non-Refundable
- Credits used or generated (see Section 2)
- Features accessed or content created
- AI generation requests processed
- Overage charges
- Subscription taxes or fees
1.2 Refunds After 7 Days
After the 7-day money-back guarantee period, Framova does not offer refunds for subscription fees except in cases of:
- Service unavailability (Framova offline for >48 hours during your billing month)
- Material non-conformity (purchased tier does not deliver advertised features)
- Fraudulent charges on your account
In these cases, you may request a partial refund or service credit.
1.3 Subscription Disputes
If you dispute a charge with your credit card company or payment processor:
- Framova will cooperate with chargeback investigations
- Providing false chargeback information may result in Account termination
- We reserve the right to suspend your account pending chargeback resolution
2. Credit Policies
2.1 Credits Are Non-Refundable
Credits are non-refundable under any circumstance. This is a core policy:
- Credits purchased separately are not refundable
- Monthly credits allocated via subscription are not refundable
- Promotional credits or bonus credits are not refundable
- Unused credits do not convert to cash or future billing credits
- Credits expire 30 days after allocation (see Section 2.2)
- Overage credits charged to your account are non-refundable
Rationale: Credits represent access to computing resources (AI generation via fal.ai), which are consumed upon use. Once generation begins, Framova incurs real costs from fal.ai and cannot recover those expenses.
2.2 Credit Expiration
Monthly Credit Allocation
- Credits are allocated on your billing date each month
- Unused credits expire 30 days after allocation
- Expired credits are permanently deleted
- No carryover of credits to the next month
Examples
- Billing date: May 15 → Credits expire June 15
- Billing date: June 15 → Credits expire July 15
- Promotional credits: Expire per stated promotion (default 30 days)
Tracking Expiration
- Your Account dashboard displays credit balance and expiration date
- Email reminders sent at 7 days before expiration
- Email reminder sent at 1 day before expiration
- No refund or extension issued after expiration
2.3 Pro Rata Credits on Tier Changes
If you upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle, credits are adjusted pro rata:
Example: Mid-Cycle Upgrade
- Current plan: Starter ($15/month, 100 credits)
- Billing date: May 1 → Upgrade to Creator on May 15 (halfway through)
- Charge: $20 (half of Creator's $39 price)
- Credits: You used ~50 Starter credits; you receive ~175 Creator credits
- Total available: ~225 credits until June 1
Pro Rata Formula
- Days remaining in cycle ÷ Total days in cycle × New plan credits = Pro rata allocation
2.4 Overage Charges
If you exceed your monthly credit allocation:
Overage Pricing
- Overages charged at published rate (typically 2× the per-credit cost of your tier)
- You will be notified when overage begins
- Overage charges are non-refundable
- You may set an overage limit in Account Settings
Example
- Creator tier: 500 credits/month at $39 = $0.078/credit
- Overage rate: $0.156 per credit
- If you use 600 credits: 100 overage × $0.156 = $15.60 additional charge
2.5 Credits on Account Termination
If your Account is terminated (by you or Framova):
- All remaining credits are immediately forfeited
- No refund or payout is issued
- If terminated due to your violation, you waive any claim to credits
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your Framova subscription at any time:
Self-Service
- Log into your Framova account
- Go to Settings → Subscription & Billing
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Select reason for cancellation (optional)
- Click "Confirm Cancellation"
Email Request
- Email: support@framova.cc
- Subject: "Cancel Subscription - [Your Email]"
- We will process within 2 business days
3.2 Cancellation Effective Date
- Timing: Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- Example: If your billing date is May 15 and you cancel on May 20, your subscription ends June 14 (you retain access through June 14)
- No Refund for Remaining Time: You do not receive a refund for unused time in the billing cycle
- Confirmation: You will receive a cancellation confirmation email
3.3 Access After Cancellation
- You retain access to all Account features until your current billing period ends
- You retain access to view your previous creations and downloads indefinitely
- Credits expire on their scheduled expiration date (see Section 2.2)
- You cannot create new AI generations or use paid features after billing period ends
3.4 Account Data After Cancellation
Upon cancellation:
- Your Account remains active for 90 days (grace period)
- You may reactivate your subscription during the grace period by resubscribing
- Your previous creations, settings, and history are preserved
- After 90 days, data is deleted per our Privacy Policy (see Privacy Policy, Section 5)
3.5 Automatic Renewal Cancellation
Framova does not auto-renew unless you explicitly subscribe. However:
- If you have a paid subscription, it automatically renews on your billing date
- To stop automatic renewal, cancel your subscription (Section 3.1)
- Credit card failures will not automatically cancel; failed charges will trigger payment retry
- After 3 failed payment attempts, we may suspend your Account and mark you for collection
4. Billing and Payment Issues
4.1 Payment Failures
If your payment method fails:
First Attempt (billing date)
- We will retry the charge automatically
- You will receive a notification
Second Attempt (3 days later)
- Final automatic retry
- Notification sent if payment fails
After Failure
- Your Account will be downgraded to Free tier
- Paid features will be disabled
- Unpaid balance may be reported to collection agencies
- You may update your payment method and reactivate
4.2 Billing Disputes
If you dispute a charge:
Contact Framova First
- Email billing@framova.cc with details
- Framova will investigate within 5 business days
- We will respond with findings and resolution
- If you remain unsatisfied, you may escalate to your credit card company
Credit Card Chargeback
- If you file a chargeback without contacting us first, your Account will be suspended
- We reserve the right to permanent ban for fraudulent chargebacks
- Cooperation with chargeback investigations is required to resolve the dispute
4.3 Refunds for Billing Errors
If Framova overbills you (duplicate charge, incorrect tier, etc.):
- Email billing@framova.cc immediately
- Include transaction ID and details
- Framova will verify and refund within 10 business days
- Refund issued to original payment method
5. Free Plan
5.1 Free Plan Features
The Framova Free Plan includes:
- 50 credits per month
- Basic features (standard generation models only)
- Community support (email within 48 hours)
5.2 Free Plan Limitations
- No premium features (editing, niche filtering, advanced models)
- No commercial rights to AI-generated content
- No Team features
- Limited API access
- No priority support
- Subject to fair use limits (max 100 generations per month)
5.3 Free Plan Termination
Framova may terminate Free Plan accounts that:
- Violate Terms of Service
- Show signs of abuse or manipulation
- Remain inactive for 12 months
- Use unauthorized bots or scripts
6. Promotional Offers and Discounts
6.1 Trial Offers
Framova may offer trial periods (e.g., 14 days free, $1 first month):
Trial Terms
- Trial is valid once per email address
- At the end of the trial, you will be charged the full subscription price
- You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges
- Trial period is non-renewable
- Unsual usage patterns (bot activity, credit abuse) may disqualify trial eligibility
6.2 Discount Codes
Discount codes and promotional offers:
- Valid only for first-time subscriptions (unless specified)
- Cannot be combined with other offers
- Non-transferable and non-exchangeable
- Expiration date is displayed at code generation
- Framova reserves the right to revoke codes for abuse
- No refund for expired codes or forfeited discounts
6.3 Referral Credits
Framova may offer referral bonuses (e.g., "Refer a friend, both get $10 credit"):
- Bonus credits are subject to these Terms
- Credits must be used within 30 days (or per promotion)
- Credits are non-refundable
- Fraudulent referrals (fake accounts, self-referral) will be removed
- Framova reserves the right to disqualify referral abuse
7. Special Cases and Exceptions
7.1 Enterprise and Custom Agreements
Framova offers custom contracts for enterprise customers with custom pricing:
- Refund and cancellation terms in enterprise contracts override this policy
- Enterprise customers should refer to their Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and Statement of Work (SOW)
- Custom terms require written agreement signed by both parties
7.2 Service Outages and Unavailability
If Framova is unavailable (downtime >48 hours during your billing period):
Compensation Options
- Service credit equal to days of downtime (e.g., 1 day down = 1 day credit extension)
- Partial refund (pro rata, based on downtime hours)
- No refund for outages <4 hours

- Include dates/times of outage
- Request credit or refund
- Decision made within 5 business days
7.3 Product Discontinuation
If Framova discontinues a feature or tier:
- Existing subscribers on that tier are grandfathered into similar pricing
- Users have 60 days to downgrade or switch tiers
- No refund for tier discontinuation
- Migration credits may be offered (at Framova's discretion)
8. Government and Educational Discounts
8.1 Nonprofit Organizations
Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (US) or equivalent may qualify for discounts:
- Submit proof of nonprofit status
- Discount applied to confirmed email domain
- 20–30% discount on annual subscriptions
- Discounts non-transferable
8.2 Educational Institutions
Accredited educational institutions may qualify for educational pricing:
- Request program details: education@framova.cc
- Bulk licenses available for classrooms and labs
- Custom terms negotiated separately
9. Tax and Payment Processing
9.1 Sales Tax
- Framova charges sales tax where legally required
- Tax rate depends on your billing address
- Tax is calculated and applied at checkout
- Taxes are included in refund calculations
9.2 Currency and Pricing
- Framova displays prices in USD
- If charged in other currencies (via payment processor conversion), exchange rates may apply
- Framova is not responsible for currency conversion rates
- International customers may incur additional bank fees
9.3 Payment Methods
Framova accepts:
- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- PayPal
- Apple Pay / Google Pay
- ACH (for enterprise)

10. Appealing Refund Decisions
10.1 Appeal Process
If your refund request is denied:
- Email refund@framova.cc with subject "Refund Appeal"
- Explain why you believe the denial was in error
- Provide supporting evidence or documentation
- Wait 3–5 business days for review
- A different team member will review the appeal
- You will receive written decision
10.2 Escalation
If you remain unsatisfied after appeal:
- You may escalate to your payment processor (credit card company)
- You may pursue chargeback through your bank
- You may contact your local consumer protection agency
- Framova's management will not override policy for additional appeals
11. Changes to Refund & Cancellation Policy
Framova may update this policy to:
- Adjust refund periods or conditions
- Align with legal requirements
- Adjust for fraud or abuse patterns
Material changes will be announced via email and in-app notification (30 days' notice). Continued use after changes constitute acceptance.
